THE SYDNEY MODEL RAILWAY SOCIETY
Welcome to our Yard, the SMRS Yard, located at Arncliffe Station in the southern suburbs of Sydney, Australia.
We are the oldest model train club in Australia. Founded in 1936, we boast a long and colourful history and of course, all things trains.
We meet in the Southern Suburbs of Sydney every Monday night (except public holidays) for running sessions from 6:30pm to 9:30pm and on the 3rd Friday of each month from 11am, subject to member availability.
Our clubroom features an HO scale freelance Australian DC layout. In addition we also own and operate an HO scale DCC exhibition layout, "Mungo Scott"
We warmly welcome new members and visitors - drop in, check out the layout, see the new projects we are working on or just say 'Hi'.

SYDNEY MODEL RAILWAY SOCIETY
Established in 1936, Sydney Model Railway Society is the oldest Model Railway Club in Australia.
The SMRS is a model train club, specialising in NSW rolling stock (and a bit of everything else) with a long HO track in the club, and an excellent exhibition layout of the Mungo Scotts Flour Mill, based on the original location in Summer Hill in Sydney.
Meeting every Monday night, we meet to discuss all things trains, run sessions and model skill training. Visitors are most welcome.
The Sydney Model Railway Society has two layouts, a fixed layout in our clubroom and an exhibition layout. Check out some photos below.
