We run all varieties of Australian long trains on long running days. Here on 7 January 2017, is a club owned 421 class loco leading a half full load of S Trucks
Getting Longer
92 CLASS COALIE
Recently arrived 9201 leads 9215 and 9207 (Auscisions latest release) with 44 batwing coal wagons behind. Coming down the hill with far to much momentum, they are lucky to stay on the tracks.
The longest
NR LEADING STEELIE
The longest train on our last long train running day was the National Rail lead empty steelie, with a classic collection of wagons, including the latest release from Auscision, the NODY's.
Long running days are going to become more frequent and provide a great opportunity for members (and prospective members) to set up and run long trains through our scenic club room layout. Keep an eye out for further dates - new members are most welcome.
